Advanced diagnostics through 3-D scans begin the experience at Jacksonville Family Dentistry. Getting the most precise digital picture of a patient’s mouth helps Dr. Fancher come up with a plan of cutting-edge techniques that best fit the patient’s unique case. She taps into advanced treatment for realigning and perfecting teeth through traditional and cosmetic dentistry, including ZOOM whitening and clear braces.
During your appointment, feel free to request a pillow, weighted blanket, sunglasses, or noise-canceling headphones. Our beverage area comes stocked with coffee and bottled water for patients to drink while waiting in the lobby.
More like a spa than a dental practice, we go the extra mile in making sure our patients are comfortable, offering weighted blankets, soothing music, noise-cancelling headphones and scented, warmed towels for the face.
Before any procedures that might cause a patient discomfort, the staff will inject Novocaine into the affected area and make sure it’s completely numb before proceeding.
Patients over 20 years old can undergo oral sedation via nitrous oxide to melt away any anxiety. We understand your feelings and our goal is to make you comfortable during each visit.
An East Texas native, Dr. Meagan Fancher knew from a young age she wanted to help others through medicine. A turning point came during a college mission trip to Peru, where she hiked through remote villages offering toothbrushes and dental hygiene instruction to villagers, making a real difference in their lives.
After earning her undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, Dr. Fancher went onto the University of Texas School of Dentistry, where she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class and was selected as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. If she’s not at the practice seeing patients, you’ll find this busy mom driving her three children to many sports activities, from t-ball to soccer. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids—Raylan, Reid and Lawson. The family also loves to travel, ride horses and attend church services.
